Clinicals can often be a difficult area for a nursing instructor. So many students and so little time often makes it very hard to feel in control. Evaluating the student's underlying understanding of a clinical day's activity often seems impossible and paperwork can seem overwhelming. We've put together a few thoughts and ideas to try to help with these issues.
To be successful, students need to own the nursing material...here are a few tips to help them suceed
Teaching with Concept Maps ( 2 items ) Concept Maps are a way of organizing and displaying information that emphasizes the connections between various categories of information. With Concept Maps, students literally see how the information they are learning is very much connected to other nursing concepts.
